Bleed

All print needs to be trimmed to create the correct sized document. Adding bleed to your artwork will ensure that any image which meets the very edge of the page will not leave a white strip showing after it has been trimmed.

As you can see, bleed is the image which extends beyond the page (by at least 5mm).
